Developed by Dapper Gentlemen, Ugly Meter Pro was released a month ago and is the sequel to the original Ugly Meter that launched in August 2010.
This new app “scans your facial structure and uses the mathematics behind the Golden Ratio to determine how ugly or beautiful you are on a scale from 1-100”. The new version also explains why you received the rating you did.
It’s the best new way to evoke jealousy and rage among girl friends or make fun of the most ugly guy in your group.
The original simply gave you a rating on a 1 to 10 scale. After the original topped the charts in October of

It wasn’t good press though.
It had been hailed as the newest tool for cyberbullying and faced a huge outcry of concerned parents deeming the app “hurtful”.
The new pro version jumped back into the charts after a huge recent bump in China. A bump back into the media will be sure to follow.
